Shepper is a mobile app that allows users to earn money by completing on-site checking tasks. These jobs include checks on cars, car parks, properties, media displays, and retail locations. Users can select jobs available in their area, perform tasks such as taking photos or answering questions, and get paid once the tasks are completed. Shepper offers flexible, task-based earning opportunities, with straightforward payment options and no minimum withdrawal threshold, making it an accessible side gig for those looking to earn extra money.
What is Shepper?
Shepper is a mobile app that lets you earn by checking. And yes, it is a legit app as you can really earn from it.
How to Earn Money with Shepper?
Once you become a shepherd (the term they use for their members), you can access all the jobs available in your area by logging into the Shepper app. Once you’re logged in, go to the Market section of the app to see all the jobs available in your locale.
As shown in the photo above, each task will ask you to go to a specific location to check. There are five types of checks you may encounter – Car Checks, Car Park Checks, Media Checks, Property Checks and Retail Checks.
Car Check will ask you to inspect a car used for ride sharing. This type of check usually takes 5-10 minutes. Car Park Check, on the other hand, will ask you to visit a car park or potential car park site.
A property check usually involves an inspection of the interior of someone’s property. It may take about 20 to 40 minutes to complete. Media Check will ask you to check the billboard status or whether a particular ad is running.
Finally, retail checks are by far the most common checks available. This is very similar to the mystery shopping assignment as you will mostly check that the products are well stocked and present in the correct stores.
Each task will usually ask you to take photos and answer questions. You will be given a set of instructions that you must follow when you perform a task.
To start the earning process, just choose a job that interests you and apply for it. It doesn’t take more than a day to know if your application has been accepted or rejected. If it’s accepted, it will appear in the My Jobs section of the app, so you can check to see which applications have been accepted.
You can apply for as many jobs as you want, but you must make sure you can do them So, avoid applying for jobs that occur on the same date and time. If your application is accepted, all that remains is to appear at the appointed place and time and get the check done.
Once you have completed the task, you must submit all your deliverables. Then, the shaper will review it, and if everything is fine, they will pay the compensation, which will be credited to your shaper account balance. In the next section, I will discuss how you can maximize your earnings.
How do you get paid from Shepper?
For each job you complete, you will earn the amount stated in the job description. As mentioned, the amount will be credited to your shaper account.
What’s great about Shaper is that you don’t have to hit a threshold to withdraw your earnings. As long as you have earned from a job, you can immediately withdraw your earnings into your bank account.
So, don’t withdraw your earnings quickly every time you earn from a job. It is recommended that you deposit at least £20 when you withdraw your earnings as there will be no transfer fees involved. If you withdraw less than £20, a £0.65 deduction will be applied.
Now, you can choose to withdraw your earnings automatically. Shaper will let you set it up so that they deposit your earnings into your bank account at the end of the month. However, they will only do so if you earn at least £20.
If you don’t reach this threshold, you’ll have to wait until the end of the next month when you reach the threshold. This is a much more convenient option, in my opinion, since you get the full amount.
How to join Shepper?
You can sign up as a member of Shepper no matter where you live, it’s only for people living in the UK. So, if you live elsewhere, this is not for you.
To sign up, you need to install the app first. When you open it for the first time, you will be asked to provide your email address to proceed with registration. Once you complete the registration, Shaper will email you the code to complete the registration.
After you complete this step, you can log into the app and set up your profile. This is the part where you can customize the area that appears on the Shaper Market page (where you can find jobs). Once you’ve set up the app, you can start searching for jobs to apply for.
