How to make money become a Skooli tutor?
The only way to make money from Skooli is to schedule tutoring sessions for students. But to work as a Skooli tutor, you need to have at least one of the things mentioned in the photo below.
You must have a bachelor’s degree or teaching certificate, master’s or PhD, state or provincial teaching license, or ESL and other educational qualifications.
You don’t necessarily have to accept all the requirements (more on that later). If you don’t have any of the qualifications mentioned above, I suggest you don’t even bother applying to be a teacher because you won’t get accepted.
How to earn, it all starts with the students who have registered as members of the school. These students are free to choose the teacher they think best suits their needs.
They begin by searching for the subject and grade level for which they need tutoring. Then, they select one or more tutors with whom to send a tutoring session request. If you are one of those teachers, you will receive a notification from the website.
It will also show up in your email. The request shall indicate the date, time, duration, and subject of the session. If you would like to respond to the request, just click the accept button. Then, all that remains is to turn up at the appointed time and tutor the student.
Another way to conduct a tutoring session is through a dispatch session. For such tutoring sessions, students are not free to choose their tutor. What happens is that a request is submitted with the subject of the student’s need, and the Skooli tutors matched with the profile information will take that live request.
If you are among the teachers eligible for the session, you will receive a notification as well as an email. Dispatch sessions are done on a first-come, first-served basis, so you’ll need to decide quickly if you want to take it.
Now, the next important thing you must know is that the session will be conducted on the Skooli platform. The website will provide you with a platform where you can video conference with the student. The platform will also be able to monitor session duration, as well as provide tools to help you tutor the student.
After the session ends, you will receive the payment, and it will be credited to your account balance.
It’s a simple process, but it ultimately requires a certain level of commitment from you. The minimum time you can spend per session is 15 minutes, and some sessions can last several hours, depending on the needs of the student. So, you need to be ready to meet the student’s needs when you accept a request.
The types of subjects you can teach vary. From what I can see, it covers most of the topics you will encounter in school, be it elementary, high school or college.
How do you get paid?

There isn’t much information on their website about how they set tutor rates, which makes it a little confusing in my opinion.
All they say is that tutors will be paid at a competitive rate, so you can expect to earn a decent amount for each tutoring session. How You Can Withdraw Your Earnings Once you have reached the minimum earnings of $100, you can request a payment for the full outstanding amount at any time via PayPal.
Skooli asks that you withdraw the full amount you have deposited, so keep this in mind when you are about to withdraw your earnings. Once you request a withdrawal, Skooli will review it, and it will be processed weekly on Friday for the previous week’s requests.
How to join Skooli?
Skooli is available more or less worldwide, so you can apply to be a teacher wherever you are. The application process is quite lengthy and involves several steps.
The first step is to fill the application form. At this stage, you should indicate the subjects you want to teach, as well as the educational level you prefer (elementary, high school, college, etc.). Then, you need to set up your profile.
After you complete this step, you’ll proceed to the Identity Verification phase, where you’ll need to submit a photo of any government-issued ID. You will be asked to submit a copy of your highest completed degree or transcript, as well as a copy of any teaching license (if applicable).
