How to make money by Freelancer Jobs?
To earn from FreeUp, you must apply for jobs that it offers. When you visit the website, you will immediately see all available job offers by clicking on the “Apply as Freelancer” link.
Most of the jobs offered by FreeUp are full-time positions, but you may find part-time positions from time to time. If you see a job that interests you, just click the apply button. Now, here is the important part you need to know.
When you apply for a job, what you’re actually doing is applying for a freelancer position for FreeUp. You don’t exactly apply for posted job positions, which is pretty weird in my opinion.
Once you are accepted as a freelancer, you can log into its member dashboard and see all the open projects you can work on. If you see a project you’re interested in, just apply for it, and you’ll be introduced to the client.
Just make sure you apply for projects that suit your skill set. FreeUp can match you with existing projects if they think you’re a good fit for it.
Once you’re accepted into the project, all that’s left is to do what it asks you to do. Now, while working on a project, you need to log your time using FreeUp’s software. You will be given instructions on how to do this when you are accepted as a FreeUp Freelancer.
You can track billable time from the member dashboard. Now, it’s important to note that you can set your hourly rate while working on projects. Of course, the client must agree to the rate before accepting you on their project. So, you also need to make sure that you don’t set an hourly rate that is too expensive because you might lose potential clients.
This is how FreeUp’s earning opportunity works. To recap, your main goal is to really get accepted as a FreeUp freelancer. Once this is done, you will start finding earning opportunities through suggested jobs/projects.
How do you get paid?
On FreeUp, freelancers are paid by the hour for each project they complete. you will be paid by the hour. As explained above, you can view your billable hours on the Member Dashboard. Then, FreeUp will pay you each week for all billable hours you’ve accumulated. This means you don’t have to earn a certain amount to withdraw your earnings.
Just remember that there is a one-week delay, so your earnings for the first week will be credited on the third week of the month. You have the option to pay via PayPal or Payoneer.
However, you will only receive 80% of your earnings as FreeUp will deduct from what you earn. Consider this a service fee as it offers you this service for free.
How to join FreeUp?

So, if you are new to freelancing, you may find it challenging to accept them as a freelancer.
When you apply as a FreeUp freelancer, you will go through a verification process, which will include an interview. But before doing that you need to fill the application form.
The application form is long, and you must provide your work experience. But if you are actually a member, you can use your real profile to apply. There is also an option to use your LinkedIn profile when applying.
After submitting your application, it may take a few business days for the FreeUp Freelancer Success Team to review your information, so please be patient. If you pass the initial screening process, you get what they call the FreeUp Culture & Community course.
This course will help you understand if FreeUp is right for you before you take time out of your busy schedule to interview. At the end of the course there will be a few questions about what you have read. If you pass the course, you will receive an invitation to schedule an interview with one of their recruiting specialists.
The interview will be conducted via Zoom. When you will know if you will be accepted or not, some decisions are made directly after the interview. If still undecided, you will be notified via email that you have passed the final stage with instructions to set up your FreeUp account.
As you can see, this is quite a long application process, so if you want to earn immediately, this is not for you.
