Crowdville started in Italy in 2014 but has since expanded to more countries and now has over 40,000 members. It’s still a small site compared to other online survey opportunities, but bigger isn’t always better.

When you sign up for Crowdville, you become known as a Crowder. This means you can participate in their missions, which are the main way the site makes money.
It’s quite different from other survey sites and is a product testing site, but not like other product testing sites.
As a member, you can view the missions available.
To be able to apply to participate in a mission, you must first complete your profile. It takes less than 5 minutes to complete your profile.
Missions are usually in the tech industry and require you to test apps and provide feedback on them in order to earn money. Often, apps that haven’t been released yet, as the developers want them to be properly tested before they’re released.
This makes it a great opportunity to test new apps before anyone else.
This can be a range of different apps from big brands in telecom, media, banking and more.
A mission usually consists of different parts – mostly a survey part where you provide feedback on your experience with the app and the option to participate in bug finding in the app.
Both of these options pay quite well for the time spent compared to many other survey sites if you manage to qualify for one.
Whenever you join a mission, you’ll see a step-by-step description of what to do.
A survey is something you usually have to do after testing the app to get paid. This is how the developers get feedback and can improve their service.
Reporting bugs is not something you have to do. But it does mean that if you, while testing an app, notice that something isn’t working, you can report a bug.
The creators of these apps are obviously keen to find as many bugs as possible before releasing the app. So if you participate in finding bugs, you’ll get extra rewards for it.
Usually, there will also be a bug-finding contest as part of a mission. If you’re the one who finds the most bugs, you’ll win an extra prize in addition to the rewards you’ve already earned by answering surveys and reporting bugs.
Overall, it’s a great idea. The main problem is that you don’t find many opportunities out there so you don’t get to participate in Crowdville missions very often.
Make money by inviting friends to join at Crowdville
You can earn a little extra by inviting your friends to join Crowdville.
If a friend joins, you’ll get a 5% commission on what they earn. This doesn’t mean they’ll earn less, of course. They will earn the same regardless – Crowdville pays you a commission as a thank you for telling others about it.
In general, before inviting a friend to a survey opportunity, I encourage you to try it out yourself first and make sure it’s something you want to recommend to your friend.
But if you know people who might be interested in joining, it could be a way to earn a little extra, although it won’t be much. However, the referral program is pretty poor compared to sites like PrizeRebel, for example, where you can earn up to 30% commission.
And with Crowdville’s limited earning potential, it won’t be a way to earn much.
Make Money by Participate in the Crowdville Community
Crowdville has an entire section called Community.
Its design and navigation are still not great, and it hasn’t improved much in the 3 years I’ve been a member, but it’s important to know about the community aspect if you can live with it.
This is not a way to earn money, but you can get some important information here.
For example, you can visit blogs in your specific country where a lot of news and tutorials are posted. Also, when you participate in a mission, there will be a group for that mission where you can ask if you have any questions.
In addition, you can also use the Crowdville community as a form of social media to share your thoughts and posts.
You can also add friends and send messages.
How to join Crowdville?
Crowdville is still a relatively new platform, particularly in many regions worldwide.
It started in Italy and this is where you will find the most opportunities. However, it has expanded to the UK, Spain and Portugal.
So, joining will only be relevant if you are in the UK, Italy or Portugal.
However, you can join from anywhere and sometimes there may be missions where you can participate from anywhere in the world.
But if you’re not from one of the countries above, it will require a lot of patience (and even in the countries where it’s available), and then it’s best to join the sites in your country.
