eJury : Get Paid to Be Part of a Virtual Jury

Introduction

eJury is an innovative online platform that lets everyday people participate in mock trials to help lawyers prepare for real courtroom cases. As an eJuror, you can share your opinions, deliver a verdict, and get paid for your time—no legal experience required!

What is eJury?

eJury is quite a unique site because it focuses more on helping lawyers prepare for trials by providing them with the opportunity to face a mock jury.

This is where you come in. You can sign up on their website and become a potential juror for the mock trials offered by eJury. This way, you can help lawyers prepare for their upcoming trials. Of course, you will be rewarded for participating in this activity.

Make money by Legal Survey from eJury

As you already know, eJury conducts mock trials for lawyers who sign up for their services. Once you become a member of their panel, you will be eligible to participate in mock trials. The process starts when a lawyer submits a case to eJury. Then, eJury selects members whose profiles match the case criteria.

If you fit the profile required for the case, you will receive an invitation.

Once you accept the invitation, you will be able to answer questions about the case. Typically, the questions will include your opinion about the case and your verdict.

So, when you participate in one of these mock trials, you will feel like you are part of the jury because you will be able to send in your verdict.

The good thing is, there are no right or wrong answers. You simply tell them your opinion about the case and you send in your verdict.

You have to remember that there is a maximum of 50 verdicts before each case is over. Once the verdicts reach that number, you will not be able to receive the reward.

So if you want to participate, you need to take the survey as soon as possible.

The reward you will receive for each case that you successfully submit a verdict in will depend on the length of the case.

It is a pretty simple process, which makes it easy for you to earn some money.

How do you get paid from eJury?

The good thing about eJury is that they will pay you real money to participate in one of their cases.

You will get paid as soon as you finish the case. You will receive your payment via PayPal.

You don’t have to reach a certain amount to receive your reward. This makes it even more ideal because the site doesn’t have any payment thresholds that you need to meet.

In my experience, not many sites do this. Typically, survey sites require you to reach a certain number of points or amount in order to withdraw your money. This allows you to receive your earnings from eJury more quickly.

How to join eJury?

eJury seems pretty straightforward. But when it comes to who can join the site, it gets quite complicated. This is to be expected because, after all, we are dealing with the law here.

During the registration process, before you reach the registration form shown above, you will be required to take an oath.

During the oath taking, you will be asked to swear that you are not an actively practicing lawyer, paralegal, or legal assistant.

It will also ask you to swear that you are not employed by a lawyer or law firm or related to a practicing lawyer within the first degree of consanguinity.

The affidavit will ask you to swear that you will not disclose any information collected from the site to any lawyer, paralegal, legal assistant, law firm, insurance adjuster, insurance company, or anyone associated with them.

In my opinion, these requirements are pretty standard for anything involving sensitive information. So, if you can’t abide by that oath, I suggest you don’t join the site.

That may seem like a lot, but it’s only because you’re not involved in any legal work and you’re not sharing sensitive information that would affect the outcome of the case.

Because you have to remember that the cases submitted to eJury are likely going to be real cases.
