Hyer is a gig economy app that will help you find the right gig jobs so that you can earn extra cash every day. It is actually legit because you can find really paying jobs while using it.
Make money by becoming a Hyer Tasker
Once you become a Hyer Tasker, you need to log in to the mobile app to see all the jobs available in your area (more on that later). When you see a job that interests you, simply click on it to see the full details. If you want to work on it, you just need to click on the apply button.
And if your application is accepted, you just need to show up at the location when it’s time to work.
However, there is one thing you need to know about these jobs. From time to time, customers/employers will offer jobs privately to certain members. This is called a private offer and it is usually given to members whom the customer deems worthy of working for them.
If you ever get the app, you will be notified by the app, but it is a very rare occurrence, so it is not something you should expect to happen often.
When you are at a job site, you will be required to clock in before you can start work. Once the job is completed, you will be required to answer a survey and check with the manager/owner to see if you are ready to clock out. If the manager/owner gives permission, you can clock out through the app.
Then, your employer will pay you for the work you have done.
The type of work you will be required to do will vary. Most jobs include general labor, delivery, food service, cleaning, and warehouse services. So, you do not need any special skills to earn them. As long as you are willing to do what the employer asks of you, you will be able to earn.
If you are required to do delivery work, some employers will require you to own an insured vehicle for hire. So, keep this in mind when applying for delivery jobs.
Now, there are two types of jobs available on Hyer – fixed fee and hourly fee. The good thing is, you will know immediately whether the job is done at a fixed or hourly rate, so that part won’t be confusing.
When it comes to job availability, it will depend on your location. Based on my experience, people living in big cities will have more jobs available.
How do you get paid from hyer?
As explained earlier, you will earn a fixed amount while working on jobs. You can earn a fixed amount or a fixed rate per hour depending on the job.
Well, to use Hyer, you will need to connect your Stripe account, so if you don’t have one, sign up for one if you are interested in becoming a Hyer member.
After completing the job, your employer will be given 24 hours to confirm the payment. Once the payment is confirmed, it will automatically be posted to your Stripe account.
Then, it’s up to you whether you want to withdraw your earnings from Stripe to your bank account immediately or wait for the weekly payment schedule, which will be completed automatically. Weekly payments start processing every Monday and are deposited on Wednesday of the same week.
Keep in mind that there will be a 1% fee for each payment, with a minimum of $0.50. So, don’t expect to receive the full amount while withdrawing your earnings.
How to join Hyer ?
Hyer is only available to people living in the United States. If you live elsewhere, it’s not for you. You must be at least 18 years old to register as a Tasker.
To sign up, you’ll first need to install the app. Then, when you open the app for the first time, you’ll need to go through the registration process. At this stage, you’ll need to provide your social security number, skills, and consent to a background check, which is an annual requirement for Taskers.
This means that you’ll need to undergo a background check every time you work as a Hyer Tasker. The good news is that Hyer covers most of the cost of the background check. You only have to spend $5 – $20 depending on your location.
Once the background check is complete, you can start applying for jobs in your location.
