How to earn with ShopSmarter Cashback offer
The only way to earn rewards with ShopSmarter is by utilizing the cashback offers available exclusively in the member area. After logging into your member dashboard, you’ll be able to browse a list of stores offering cashback deals through ShopSmarter.
The main advantage of this cashback site in my opinion is that (refer to the image above) there are over a thousand stores to choose from. Also, it has partnered with several popular stores, so you will definitely get cashback offers that you will be interested in.
What you need to remember is that all cashback offers have a fixed cashback rate of 10%, which is an average rate in my opinion. Your cashback reward is calculated by calculating 10% of your order subtotal. Your subtotal is the total cost of your purchase minus taxes, shipping and handling, and other fees added to your order at checkout.
If you use coupons or other types of discounts, ShopSmarter will calculate your 10% cashback reward using your new subtotal after applying any discounts. After you complete the purchase, the cashback reward will be credited to your account until you cancel the order or return the product.
When using cashback offers, it’s essential to always access the online store through ShopSmarter’s dashboard. This is the only way your purchase can be tracked, ensuring you receive the correct cashback reward.
How do you get paid From ShopSmarter?
Every time you are awarded cashback, it will be credited to your account balance. You can even view all the cashback rewards you have earned on the dashboard.
Well, you have two options – you can either pay through PayPal or check through postal mail. Personally, I prefer paying through PayPal because paying by check is a bit of a hassle and, well, a bit outdated in my opinion.
Payment is made automatically on the 15th day of the following month. This means you don’t need to meet a minimum threshold to access your earnings. Expect to receive your earnings on the 15th day of the following month unless you win the cashback prize within that month.
How to join ShopSmarter?
ShopSmarter is only available to individuals residing in the United States and Canada. So, if you live elsewhere, this is not for you. Also, the join button will not be available if you are not in the country mentioned above.
To sign up as a member, you can fill the registration form. Then, as mentioned earlier, you have to pay a subscription fee per month ($12.97 per month when I tested it). There is an option to do a free 7-day trial.
However, if you do not wish to become a member before the trial period ends, you must cancel it as it will automatically charge your credit/debit card after the trial period ends. After completing your registration process, you can log into the dashboard and start shopping.
