Now, the question is, is it worth your while? Well, the only way to find out is by understanding how it works. And the best way to do this is to take a look at the opportunity it offers so that you have a clear idea of how it works and how much you can benefit from it.
Make Money By Lead Generation From SolidGigs
Technically speaking, SolidGigs does not offer any earning opportunities. As mentioned above, it works as a tool for finding freelance job leads, so what it does is help you find freelance job opportunities.
Once you’re a member of SolidGigs, all you need to do is set up SolidGigs’ search parameters to start getting leads. In this step, you can adjust location, salary, job type and more.
After configuring your search criteria, SolidGigs employs a team of “gig hunters” alongside AI matching tools to locate the most promising leads for you. They’ll find job boards, social media platforms, marketplaces, and more.
Once they find a lead that matches your preferences, they will send you the details through the member dashboard. You’ll also receive an email when this happens, so you can check your email inbox regularly to see if that happens.
If you decide to work on leads, just log into the SolidGigs member dashboard and go to the leads section. Then, click the “Send Pitch” button and it will take you to the source of freelance job opportunities.
This is where SolidGigs’ responsibility ends. Whether you can convert the lead into an earning opportunity is entirely up to you. And just like any job-hunting process, you’ll have to go through the application, interview and, hopefully, onboarding phase.
I have to say that SolidGigs does a good job of finding leads for you. However, what they are doing is not irreplaceable. You can actually search for the opportunity on your own. What it does is offer you a convenient way to get leads so that you don’t have to spend a lot of time looking for job opportunities.
How Do You Get Paid From SolidGigs?
To clarify, you won’t earn any compensation from SolidGigs. The money you earn will come from outside the platform, specifically, from companies that hire you.
So, you can expect that the payment system that will be used will be your employer’s preferred payment system. But based on my experience, you and your employer can negotiate which payment method will be used to pay you.
Employers prefer to use convenient payment methods like PayPal, Payeer, AirTM or direct bank transfer, so you will receive your earnings conveniently. Also, we’re talking salary-based opportunities here, so you don’t have to hit a threshold just to get your earnings.
How To Join SolidGigs?
The site doesn’t tell you which countries it’s available in, but from what I can tell, it’s more or less available worldwide. So, you should be able to sign up as a member wherever you are. But as said before, using it will cost you.
As you can see in the photo above, it costs $35 a month to get their services If you want to get a one-year subscription, it will cost less ($21/month). It’s a bit on the pricey side so you need to make sure you can convert at least one good lead per month just to recoup the money you spent on the subscription fee.
This is also because its earning potential is not that great. The registration process is relatively straightforward. You just need to fill the registration form, pay for the subscription and you are good to go.
Then, as previously explained, you must set up the search parameters that SolidGigs will follow when searching for leads. After you do that, all you have to do is wait for them to reach you when they collect leads.
